From November 19 to December 18, 2021

In autumn 2021 Galerie Chenel and Galerie Maxime Flatry worked on collaboration for the exhibition ‘INTERIEUR- Art Deco / Art Classique’ to create a dialogue between the Antiques and the Art Deco furniture.

Inspired by archival images of interiors from the 1920s and 1930s and the works of decorators such as Marc du Plantier and Jean-Michel Frank, this exhibition has been imagined as a piece of timeless interior. The atmosphere of the exhibition was created to reflect the way European collectors in the 1920s and 1930s combined their sculptures with the elegant furniture of the time, creating a unique aesthetic.
